I might just pick it up from B&N on my way home. If you're a fan of cartoons and comic strips then you've got to check out the work of Jackie Ormes. Her work ran between 1937-56 - and depected smart, savy and often fashionable black women characters engaged in the real issues facing women (and African Americans) of the time.
NPR did a story this morning about Ormes, recognized as the first African American woman cartoonist, and a new collection of her work by the same name by Nancy Goldstein:

2. Book. Never leave home without one. Hate standing in line staring at the floor.
3. Ipod. I know, I know. I love my little Mockingbird, though. She sings all my favorite songs!
4. A sense of excitement. Never know what the next moment will bring.
